Project Scouter — Part-Time / Remote

##The Role

As a Project Scouter, you identify trending songs that can be covered and released on streaming platforms. Your findings directly impact which projects get greenlit, making you a key player in both your earnings and the company's success.



##Responsibilities

*Scout YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok, and Instagram daily for trending songs
*Filter projects against strict criteria
*Cross-verify all projects across YouTube and Spotify before submission
*Assess reproduction difficulty (live instruments, language, layering)
*Submit projects via ClickUp CRM forms with correct priority level, difficulty rating, and qualifications
*Track project statuses and avoid duplicate/previously denied submissions
*Communicate blockers to management if no projects can be found on a given day


##Performance Expectations

Minimum 15 approved projects per month
At least 10% approval rate on submissions
Monthly performance reviews (not punitive, focused on improvement)
Discretionary bonuses for projects that perform exceptionally well


##Requirements

*Strong understanding of music trends across YouTube, TikTok, SoundCloud, and Instagram
*Familiarity with engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, Sound ID usage, comment velocity)
*Ability to identify what's algorithmically viral vs. fanbase-driven
*Comfortable using different softwares such as ClickUp or other CRM-based softwares and Monitask for role monitoring
*Detail-oriented: able to check multiple languages, verify original artists, and spot botted channels
*Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, async environment
*Fluent in English, both speaking and texting
