Position: Project-Based Ads Manager
Type: Contract / Freelance/1099 Contractor
Duration: Project-Based (with potential for renewal)
Reports to: Marketing Lead / Business Owner
Location: Remote
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Ads Manager to manage and execute paid advertising campaigns on a project basis. This role is ideal for a freelancer or contractor with strong experience in paid media strategy, ad creation, audience targeting, and performance optimization across platforms such as
Responsibilities
Develop, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns based on project goals
Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to refine targeting
Write compelling ad copy and collaborate on creative assets (video, graphics, etc.)
Monitor campaign performance and adjust budgets, bids, and creatives as needed
Provide weekly (or project-end) reports outlining performance and insights
Ensure campaigns stay within budget and deliver desired ROI/ROAS
Stay updated with platform policy changes, trends, and best practices
Requirements
2+ years of experience managing paid advertising campaigns (project or agency-based)
Proven success with Meta Ads, Google Ads, or other relevant platforms
Familiarity with ad tracking tools (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, UTM tracking)
Strong copywriting skills and understanding of conversion psychology
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make quick decisions
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and deliver by deadline
