Production Graphic Designer

Catholic Family Crate is a Catholic faith formation company serving families in their journey to sainthood, offering a variety of subscription services to individual products.

This job is for someone willing to take on random projects as they come up. First, we will work on a book layout project to see how we both like working together.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Making design and text revisions off of pre-existing designs (both print and digital designs)
-Prepare images for online and mobile applications
-Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
-Creating multi-page PDFs for digital downloads
-Will prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing projects (card games, multi-
page pdfs, product packaging, etc.)
-Uphold the standards of the Catholic Family Crate brand.

Qualifications:
-Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Adobe XD is not a requirement but a plus.
-Strong attention to detail
-Must be organized—can maintain file organization as well as build clean and organized design files.
-Strong understanding of print design and preparing files for print. Experience working with packaging templates is a plus.
-Building digital mockups of products in Photoshop is a plus.
-Takes direction well and can follow revisions
-Ability to manage multiple projects at once and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
-Ideation towards growth opportunities - we LOVE ideas!
-Professional and proactive work ethic
-Ability to work collaboratively with a team, independently, and under the creative direction

Additional qualifications but not required:
-Ability to design and format new projects and products based on our existing brand
-Keen eye for color
-Strong eye for typography and hierarchy of text
