About Us

North Texas Masonry Builders, LLC is a U.S.-based commercial masonry contractor specializing in CMU, brick, stone, flashing, and air/water barrier systems. We bid multiple commercial projects daily and are expanding our preconstruction operations.

We are seeking an architectural professional based in the Philippines to support our estimating and preconstruction department. This is a long-term remote opportunity with growth potential.

Role Overview:

This role supports preconstruction, estimating coordination, submittals, and shop drawing preparation. The ideal candidate can read and interpret U.S. construction documents and is comfortable working in a fast-paced bid environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Preconstruction & Bid Support
-Review architectural and structural plans
-Identify and outline masonry scope within drawings and specs
-Extract relevant specification sections
-Assist estimators with scope breakdown
-Organize project folders and documentation
-Track addenda and revisions
-Maintain bid logs and project tracking sheets
-Submittals
-Prepare and organize masonry material submittals
-Compile product data and cut sheets
-Maintain submittal logs
-Track approval status and revisions
-Coordinate corrections based on architect comments
-Shop Drawings & RFIs
-Assist in preparation of masonry shop drawings (if CAD capable)
-Mark up drawings per internal direction
-Draft RFIs clearly and professionally
-Track and manage revisions

Required Qualifications:
-Degree in Architecture or related field
-Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
-Experience with U.S.-based construction documents preferred
-Familiarity with CSI MasterFormat
-Strong written English communication skills
-Detail-oriented and organized
-Technical Skills Preferred
-AutoCAD and/or Revit
-Bluebeam or PDF markup tools
-Microsoft Outlook and Excel
-Experience preparing contractor submittals

Minimum Computer Requirements:
-Windows Operating System
-Intel i7 Processor (or equivalent)
-Minimum 8 GB RAM (16 GB preferred)
-NVIDIA Graphics Card (Minimum 4 GB)
-1920 x 1080 screen resolution
-Stable high-speed internet connection

-Comfortable in a high-volume bid environment
-Able to manage multiple deadlines
-Strong document control skills
-Interested in long-term growth within a construction company
-Proactive and able to work independently
-Work Schedule
-Must overlap with U.S. Central Time (CST) working hours
-Full-time remote position
