Podcast Post-Production VA (Long-Term Opportunity)
Are you a skilled podcast editor who takes pride in delivering clean, polished, and professional audio?
We’re looking for a detail-focused editor to take ownership of the post-production process for a pre-recorded podcast. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values consistency, quality, and clear communication.
This role begins at approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position over time.
All episodes are pre-recorded, allowing for flexible working hours as long as deadlines are met.
Your Responsibility:
This is not a task-based role. You will be responsible for delivering a consistent weekly production outcome.
Each week, you will:
-Edit and finalize one podcast episode (45–60 minutes) to a clean, balanced, publish-ready standard
-Create two short promotional clips from the episode
-Organize and manage all files within shared cloud storage
-Ensure all deliverables are completed and submitted on time
What We’re Looking For:
We are specifically looking for someone who demonstrates ownership, attention to detail, and pride in their work.
Audio Editing:
-Strong experience editing multi-track podcast audio
-Ability to clean, level, and enhance audio for a professional final result
-You have your own editing tools (Audacity or similar)
Organization:
-Consistent and structured file management
-Ability to maintain clean and organized folders in cloud storage
Communication:
-Clear and professional communication
-Able to receive feedback and implement revisions efficiently
Ownership:
-You take responsibility for the final output—not just completing tasks
-You care about delivering a high-quality result every time
Bonus (Not Required)
-Experience with video podcast editing or short-form content
-Interest in growing into expanded responsibilities over time
How to Apply:
To be considered, please follow these steps carefully:
-Share 2–3 podcast episodes you have personally edited
-Briefly describe your editing process (2–3 sentences)
-Include your hourly rate and weekly availability
-At the top of your application, include the words:
“Ready to Produce”
Applications that do not follow these instructions will not be reviewed.
