Performance Video Editor | Remote | Fast-Growing DTC Health Brand

We are hiring video editor(s) for a fast-growing DTC health brand building a serious performance creative team.

This is not a basic editing role.

We are looking for an editor who understands attention, pacing, retention, storytelling, hooks, product trust, and direct-response creative. Someone who can take a brief, a reference, raw assets, and real-world constraints, then turn them into a clean ad that is actually ready to launch.

If you are a top-tier editor, you probably already know your worth.

Good. We want people with taste, speed, ownership, and the confidence to communicate clearly when something can be better.

ROLE DETAILS

- Remote / worldwide
- Fast-paced performance creative team
- Short-form ads, UGC-style ads, VSL-style creatives, product videos, hooks, and cutdowns
- Long-term growth path for people who perform

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Edit launch-ready paid social ads for Meta, TikTok, Reels, and other platforms
- Build strong hooks, cutdowns, variations, and performance-focused edits
- Improve pacing, clarity, retention, captions, visual rhythm, and CTA flow
- Review briefs, references, assets, and notes before cutting
- Catch issues before final export: wrong products, bad audio, weak clips, awkward cuts, off-sync captions, missing assets, or anything that makes the ad feel unlaunchable
- Suggest better creative decisions when you see a stronger path
- Communicate early when something is unclear, broken, late, or needs a better solution

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You might be a fit if you have:

- Strong editing taste and visual judgment
- Sharp pacing, retention, and storytelling instincts
- Experience with short-form ads, UGC, ecommerce, YouTube, VSLs, or creator content
- Strong English comprehension
- Good attention to detail
- A fast but careful editing workflow
- Comfort using AI tools or willingness to learn fast
- Clear communication and high ownership
- The ability to follow references closely without losing your own creative taste

Experience with ecommerce, DTC, health, wellness, direct-response, or paid ads is a major plus.

But if your work is strong and your fundamentals are sharp, apply anyway. Proof beats pedigree here.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

A lot of editing roles treat editors like button-pushers.

This one does not.

We want creative operators: people who can think, execute, catch mistakes, improve the final product, and help raise the creative standard over time.

The right person can grow into higher-responsibility roles like Senior Editor, Lead Editor, Creative Strategist, UGC Manager, or Creative Lead as the team grows.

This is a long-term role at a long-term company. We are building for years, not weeks.
