Part-Time Video Editor for Educational YouTube Channel

I’m looking for a skilled video editor to help edit educational YouTube videos.

This is part-time but consistent work, 1–2 long-form videos per month to start, with potential for more if it’s a good fit.

About the videos
The videos are educational, but they need to feel engaging, modern, and well-paced rather than slow or corporate.

I’m looking for someone who can make videos feel:

clear
dynamic
visually engaging
polished and professional

This role is for someone who can follow direction well and also bring strong editing instincts to the table.

Requirements:
At least 4 years of video editing experience
Must use Adobe Premiere Pro
Do not apply if you use CapCut or any software other than Premiere Pro
Must own a reliable computer
Must speak conversational English
Must be able to follow instructions closely
Must be able to meet deadlines consistently
Must have experience editing for YouTube


Hiring process:

Phase 2: Only candidates who seem like a strong fit will be invited to complete a short editing test using around 1 minute of footage.

Pay:
$75–$150 USD per long-form video, depending on complexity, quality, and turnaround time. Most videos will be paid within this range, with final pay depending on the scope of the edit.
