About the Brand
Soki London is an independent British perfume brand founded by fragrance creator and YouTuber Sophie King. We create long-lasting, feminine, story-led fragrances inspired by powerful female characters, travel, romance and modern femininity.
The brand has an active social media community across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with regular comments, customer engagement and a growing audience. We are looking for a reliable, creative and detail-oriented Social Media, Community & Content Assistant to help manage comments, create and post engaging short-form content, support content engagement, and assist with YouTube thumbnail and title testing.
This is a part-time remote role, ideal for someone based in the Philippines with strong written English, good attention to detail, and experience supporting beauty, fashion, lifestyle, ecommerce or creator-led brands.
Role Overview
You will help keep the Soki London community engaged by replying to comments, identifying content opportunities, creating and posting short-form content for TikTok and Instagram, and supporting basic YouTube optimisation tasks.
The role includes both community management and content support. You will be given brand guidelines, approved reply templates, product information, FAQs, content examples, raw footage, product imagery, brand assets and examples of Sophie’s tone of voice.
You should be warm, careful, organised, proactive and creative, with a good understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends.
Key Responsibilities
1. Instagram Comment Management
You will help manage comments on Soki London & SokiCats Instagram posts, reels and ads.
Replying to customer comments using approved brand tone and templates.
Liking positive comments.
Thanking customers for compliments and feedback.
Answering simple product questions, such as where to buy the perfumes, sample availability, fragrance notes, travel spray size, vegan and cruelty-free status, £5 sample voucher information and stock availability.
Flagging comments that need Sophie’s personal reply.
Flagging complaints, order issues, allergy/ingredient questions, press enquiries, influencer requests or retailer enquiries.
Saving strong customer comments or testimonials for future marketing use.
Tracking repeated questions that could become future content ideas.
2. TikTok Comment Management
You will help monitor and reply to TikTok comments on Soki London & SokiCats videos.
Replying to comments in a friendly, conversational tone.
Encouraging customers to try samples where relevant.
Answering simple product or scent questions.
Flagging comments that may be suitable for “reply with video” content.
Identifying comments that show strong purchase intent.
Noting recurring questions, objections or product requests.
Liking positive comments.
Escalating negative comments, complaints or sensitive questions.
3. Viral TikTok & Instagram Content Creation
You will help create short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels using existing Soki London & SokiCats assets, product imagery, raw footage, founder content, customer comments, trends and approved brand messaging.
Creating TikTok videos and Instagram Reels using provided photos, videos, product clips and brand assets.
Editing short-form videos in CapCut, Canva, TikTok editor, Instagram editor or similar tools.
Turning customer comments into content ideas.
Creating “reply to comment” style video concepts.
Repurposing YouTube clips into TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Identifying trending TikTok and Instagram sounds that are suitable for a beauty/fragrance brand.
Creating simple, engaging hooks for videos.
Adding captions, subtitles and on-screen text.
Creating videos around product benefits, including long-lasting perfumes, £5 samples with £5 voucher, best perfumes for summer, bridal perfumes, compliment-getting scents, perfume layering, travel sprays, founder-led behind-the-scenes content, fragrance personality quizzes, customer reviews and testimonials.
Suggesting content ideas based on current social trends.
Creating simple “viral-style” videos that feel native to TikTok and Instagram rather than overly polished adverts.
Testing different hooks, formats, captions and calls to action.
Tracking which content performs best and suggesting more of what is working.
4. TikTok & Instagram Posting
You will schedule and post approved content to TikTok and Instagram.
Uploading approved videos to TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Writing captions in the Soki London tone of voice.
Adding relevant hashtags.
Adding product tags or links where instructed.
Selecting suitable cover images.
Checking that captions, tags and links are correct before posting.
Posting at agreed times.
Monitoring early engagement after posting.
Reporting which posts perform best.
Keeping a content tracker updated with post date, caption, platform, link, views, likes, comments, saves and shares.
Ensuring all content is approved before posting until trust and brand understanding are fully established.
5. YouTube Comment Management
You will help manage comments on Sophie’s YouTube videos, including perfume review content and Soki London brand content.
Replying to recent YouTube comments using approved guidelines.
Liking or hearting positive comments where appropriate.
Flagging thoughtful comments that may need Sophie’s personal response.
Answering simple Soki London product questions.
Directing viewers to samples or the website where appropriate.
Identifying frequently asked questions.
Highlighting potential video ideas based on viewer comments.
Keeping track of common fragrance topics viewers are asking about.
Escalating anything sensitive, negative, controversial or requiring personal input.
6. YouTube Thumbnail & Title A/B Testing Support
You will assist with basic YouTube optimisation by helping test and track video titles and thumbnails.
Uploading or setting up alternate thumbnails when instructed.
Recording thumbnail/title tests in a tracking sheet.
Monitoring performance before and after changes.
Tracking metrics such as click-through rate, views, watch time, average view duration and impressions.
Helping compare which title or thumbnail performs better.
Suggesting title variations based on existing video themes and keywords.
Suggesting thumbnail text options.
Checking competitor or similar perfume videos for title inspiration.
Reporting results clearly each week.
You do not need to be a YouTube expert, but you should be comfortable using YouTube Studio and tracking results carefully.
7. Weekly Reporting
Each week, you will provide a short report covering:
Number of Instagram comments replied to.
Number of TikTok comments replied to.
Number of YouTube comments replied to.
TikTok and Instagram content created.
TikTok and Instagram content posted.
Best-performing posts.
Worst-performing posts.
Trends or sounds worth using.
Most common customer questions.
Any complaints or issues to review.
Any influencer, press or retail enquiries.
Best customer comments/testimonials.
Suggested content ideas from comments.
Thumbnail/title tests currently running.
Thumbnail/title test results.
What You Should Escalate
Please do not reply independently to:
Customer complaints.
Missing orders, shipping problems or refund requests.
Ingredient safety questions.
Allergy or medical questions.
Legal, regulatory or compliance questions.
Retailer or distributor enquiries.
Press enquiries.
Influencer collaboration requests.
Negative comments that could become sensitive.
Anything involving Sophie personally.
Anything you are unsure about.
Instead, flag these clearly for review.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal person will have:
Excellent written English.
Experience replying to social media comments for a brand, creator or ecommerce business.
Experience creating TikTok videos and Instagram Reels.
Good understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends.
Ability to edit simple short-form videos.
Experience with CapCut, Canva (We can provide access), TikTok editor, Instagram editor or similar.
A warm, friendly and natural writing style.
Good attention to detail.
An understanding of beauty, fragrance, fashion or lifestyle brands.
Ability to follow brand tone of voice.
Ability to work independently and ask questions when unsure.
Experience with Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Basic experience with YouTube Studio is a bonus.
Experience with Shopify or ecommerce customer questions is a bonus.

Hours & Availability
This is a part-time remote role.
Expected hours: 10–15 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to increase if the role goes well.
Preferred availability:
Check comments at least once per working day.
Create and/or schedule several short-form videos per week.
Provide a short weekly report.
Be available for occasional updates or instructions via email, Slack, WhatsApp, Trello or Asana.
