JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Shopify Specialist (Themes, Backend, CRO-Focused)
Remote (Philippines) | 5-15 hrs/week | Ongoing

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shopify Specialist to support ongoing website updates, backend management, and light conversion optimization across multiple eCommerce brands.

This is not just a “make edits” role — we need someone who understands how a storefront functions as a sales tool, not just a website.

You’ll be working closely with a marketing lead to implement improvements that directly impact performance.

---

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Shopify Theme & Front-End Updates

* Editing Shopify themes (sections, templates, product pages)
* Improving layout for better UX + conversion (desktop & mobile)
* Implementing landing pages, PDP improvements, and campaign pages

Backend & Store Management

* Product uploads, collections, and tagging
* Managing apps, troubleshooting conflicts, and QA checks
* Supporting Shopify Markets, currency, and localization setup
* Ensuring site speed and clean backend structure

Conversion-Focused Execution

* Implementing CRO recommendations (bundles, upsells, PDP structure)
* Updating homepage messaging and product positioning
* Supporting A/B test setups (where applicable)

General Website Support

* Fixing bugs, formatting issues, and inconsistencies
* Maintaining brand consistency across pages
* Supporting launches, promos, and seasonal updates

---

Who You Are

* Strong experience with Shopify (themes + backend)
* Comfortable working inside theme customizer + light code edits (Liquid/CSS)
* You think in terms of user experience and conversion, not just design
* Detail-oriented — you catch things others miss
* Organized and reliable with communication
* Able to take direction but also problem-solve independently

---

Nice to Have (Not Required)

* Experience with CRO or direct-response eCommerce
* Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, Recharge, or subscription apps
* Understanding of page speed optimization
* Experience working with multiple brands/stores

---

What Success Looks Like

* Pages are clean, consistent, and conversion-focused
* Tasks are executed quickly with minimal back-and-forth
* You proactively flag issues and suggest improvements
* The site runs smoothly during launches and campaigns

---

To Apply

Please include:

1. Links to Shopify stores you’ve worked on
2. A short note on what you specifically handled (theme edits, backend, CRO, etc.)
3. Your availability (hours per week + timezone)
4. Your hourly rate

---

This is an ongoing role for the right person. We’re looking for someone we can rely on long-term.
