Part-Time CapCut/TikTok Video Editor 

Hiring for a part-time video editor with potential for more. You will make short TikTok videos using CapCut or software of your choice. The video style is fun montages with DJ music/remixes, fast pace and high energy.

What you will do:
* Take clips of videos and structure them into a montage
* Identify what clips serve as the best hook to catch attention of the viewer
* Identify the different parts of the song (intro, come up, beat drop)
* Identify best clips to use for the video (reactions, cool stunts, scenery, funny ---------- nts)
* Match clips to lyrics, vibe, and/or vibe of remix/audios
* Understand how to use clips to catch viewers attention with hooks, and to hold attention with anticipation, tension, and release. 
* Use color grading (HSL, adjust settings, curves) to make clips look uniform to one another, and naturally enhance visuals
* Subtly use zoom, keyframe, and speed features to make clips engaging, make clips look uniform to one another, and enhance actions performed in videos
* Effects will NOT be used most of the time, if so, very minimally in a way that is not overly noticeable

Every video must follow this structure:
* Hook (0-2 seconds) - show the most surprising or exciting clip first. This stops people from scrolling.
* Tension/Come Up (2-12 seconds) - show more clips, match the vibe, lyrics, and beat of the music. 
* Release/Beat Drop - highest energy clips, pay off of the video

What makes a good hook? The first 2 seconds must make the viewer feel something. Here are the feelings that work best:
* Surprise/Shock- they see something they did not expect
* Fear of missing out (FOMO) - they feel like they are missing out on something fun
* Curiosity - they think "wait, what is that?" and keep watching
* Relatability - they think "that is me" or "I want that life"

Requirements:
* You have edited viral TikTok or Instagram Reels videos before.
* You can match video cuts to music beats and/or lyrics
* You can tell which clips have emotion and which ones are boring.
* You speak strong english, and understand lyrics of the songs.
* You pay close attention to details.
* You can take feedback and make changes fast.
* You have a strong internet connection.
* You can work 5-6 days per week.
* You can create & send at least 1 video per day
* You can receive payments through Wise.
* You are in the Philippines or a similar time zone.

Pay:
* $300/month ($10 per video for 30 videos) + bonuses for high performing videos. 2-3 hours a day MAX, with potential full time work in the future with a salary increase.
