Davis Projects is a premium residential building company based in Australia specialising in high-end renovations and custom homes.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant to support our growing business.
This is a long-term opportunity for the right person.
???? Role Overview
You will support our financial administration and bookkeeping processes using:
Xero
Hubdoc
Wunderbuild (construction job management software)
You will assist with transaction processing, reconciliations, and job cost allocation — while all payment approvals and financial decisions remain with the Director.
???? Responsibilities
Weekly:
Upload and process supplier invoices via Hubdoc
Code bills accurately in Xero
Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
Allocate expenses to correct jobs in Wunderbuild
Maintain clean and organised financial records
Fortnightly:
Prepare subcontractor payment summaries (for approval)
Monthly:
Reconcile all accounts
Provide:
Profit & Loss report
Aged Payables
Aged Receivables
Cashflow snapshot
Quarterly:
Prepare BAS summary for accountant review (not lodging)
???? Requirements
Proven experience with Xero (essential)
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles
High attention to detail
Experience working with Australian businesses preferred
Construction industry experience highly regarded
Reliable internet connection
Strong communication skills
Experience with Wunderbuild is a bonus but not essential (training provided).
