We are seeking a detail-oriented bookkkeper / admi asistant to support our public accounting firm. This is a remote, long-term position working directly with management and assisting with accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management, and ERP operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Receivable
• Process customer invoices and credit notes
• Verify customer payments
• Confirm sales orders in Odoo
• Maintain accurate customer account balances
• Upload supporting documentation into Odoo
Accounts Payable
• Process vendor invoices and purchase orders
• Manage vendor payments and monthly expenses
• Record payroll and expense transactions
• Create debit notes and related accounting entries
• Maintain accurate vendor account balances
ERP & Inventory Management
• Generate sales, margin, and expense reports
• Perform inventory adjustments and stock corrections
• Create warehouses and inventory locations in Odoo
• Support tea
Schedule
• Remote position
• Monday – Friday
• 25 hours per week
• Flexible schedule between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM Eastern Time
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with Odoo ERP is a MUST.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Languages
• English: Basic to Intermediate
