Part-Time AI Engineer (Automation + API Integrations)

Position: Part-Time AI Engineer
Location: Remote
Hours: 10–20 hours per week (Flexible)
Rate: $10–$18/hr depending on skill level

We are a fast-growing AI consulting and automation company building real-world AI systems for businesses.

We build:

AI-powered research agents
Resume scoring systems
API-based document search tools
CRM automations (GoHighLevel, HubSpot)
Workflow systems using n8n, Zapier, webhooks
GPT-powered business tools

This is NOT a basic ChatGPT prompting job.

We build production-grade systems using APIs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will help build and deploy:

• OpenAI API-based systems
• n8n automation workflows
• Webhook integrations

• AI agents with tool calling

• Structured output pipelines
• Document parsing systems
• CRM automation logic
• Google Sheets + API automations
• Vector database implementations (Pinecone, Supabase, etc.)
• Prompt optimization for structured outputs

You may also help:

• Improve token efficiency
• Architect AI workflows
• Debug API errors
• Deploy small web apps

REQUIRED SKILLS:

You MUST have:

• Strong experience with OpenAI API (not just ChatGPT)

Understanding of:

• JSON schema outputs
• Function calling
• Tool calling
• Temperature / token control
• Experience with webhooks
• Experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with n8n or Zapier
• Basic backend knowledge (Node.js or Python)
• Ability to debug API logs

Huge Bonus If You Have:

• Experience building AI agents
• Experience with vector databases
• Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, GHL)
• Experience with resume parsing
• Experience with document search
• Experience with scraping
• Prompt engineering for structured outputs
• Deployment experience (Vercel, Railway, etc.)
