We are a UK-based ecommerce company looking for a reliable remote Accounts Assistant to help maintain our QuickBooks records.
This is primarily an administrative role. We are not looking for a qualified accountant or tax specialist.
Responsibilities
Review transactions in QuickBooks Online
Match transactions to the correct receipts and invoices
Download receipts from supplier websites, eBay, Amazon, and other online platforms
Upload receipts and invoices to QuickBooks
Categorise expenses accurately
Reconcile transactions where supporting documents are available
Maintain organised financial records
Flag any missing receipts or unclear transactions for review
Requirements
Experience using QuickBooks Online
Strong attention to detail
Good written English
Reliable internet connection
Comfortable working independently
Experience with ecommerce businesses is helpful but not required
Hours
Initially 5–10 hours per week
Flexible schedule
Potential for additional hours as the business grows
