Packaging Production Designer (Full-Time, Remote)

We are hiring a full-time Packaging Production Designer to support our packaging and graphics workflows. This is a production-focused role—perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident working inside InDesign and Illustrator to maintain accurate, print-ready packaging files.

This is not a pure creative design role. You will work within established brand standards and existing layouts to update text, barcodes, SKUs, callouts, and technical notes. You will also support the creative team with basic graphic production for digital assets.

Primary Responsibilities: Packaging Production

• Update existing packaging files (boxes, inserts, labels, manuals)
• Replace barcodes, update SKUs, adjust text, and revise technical details
• Maintain accurate dielines, bleeds, color profiles, and print specifications
• Export final print-ready PDFs following strict file guidelines
• Create simple line drawings from product photos or references
• Maintain organization and naming conventions across a large packaging library
• Manage packaging version updates as products evolve (new finishes, variants, improvements)

Secondary Responsibilities: Graphic Design Support

• Produce simple digital graphics (Amazon listing image updates, icons, text overlays)
• Prepare assets for Shopify updates and marketing needs
• Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual style
• Assist senior designers with production tasks and asset prep

Workflow and Systems

• Follow exact file naming conventions
• Keep Google Drive packaging folders structured and up to date
• Use ClickUp for task management and deadlines
• Upload final packaging assets to Airtable
• Communicate clearly and work independently

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in packaging production, pre-press, or print-focused graphic design
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator (required)
• Solid understanding of print-ready file preparation: dielines, bleeds, CMYK, spot colors, overprint, layering
• Ability to update packaging files with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfortable working within existing layouts and brand guidelines
• Strong English communication skills
• Highly organized and reliable
• Comfortable with repetitive, detail-driven tasks
• Able to work 3 hour overlap with EST (USA) and remaining hours can be worked during local time in Philippines.

Job Type: Full-time (Long-term)
Compensation: ~$1,200 USD per month

Time Off: Paid PH holidays + PTO after probation
