Operations VA — Short-Term Rental Remote

THE ROLE
We're a premium STR company managing vacation properties across Florida. We need a detail-oriented, proactive Operations VA to cover our evening and overnight windows — the hours when most of the team is off and our guests need someone on call.

You'll work under our Operations Manager as part of a close-knit remote team. You follow SOPs, solve problems before escalating, and take full ownership of your tasks from start to finish. You're the one keeping the lights on while everyone else is asleep — that's a big deal.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Monitor and respond to guest communications through our tools, following SOPs
Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance vendors during late-day handoffs and weekend overnight emergencies — assign tasks, follow up, confirm completion
Handle late-night guest issues independently — lockouts, smart lock troubleshooting, Wi-Fi, noise complaints
Flag and track property issues until fully resolved — no open loops
Keep Notion task boards updated and accurate
Escalate to the Operations Manager only after exhausting your own resources

YOU MUST HAVE
STR, property management, or hospitality experience
Strong written English — you're communicating with guests and vendors daily
Extreme attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to problem-solve independently before asking for help — especially during overnight hours when no one else is on
Reliability — you show up, you follow through, you communicate
Genuine ability to work the swing schedule (evenings AND weekend overnights) without it wrecking your sleep, your family, or your reliability
