About the Role
We're a fast-growing EU e-commerce business doing $4m+/year in revenue with 12 people team. We run a lean, remote team across multiple markets and we move fast. We need an Operations Manager who can take the operational load off the founder so we can scale without chaos.
This is a high-ownership, low-handholding role. You will run the system, not wait to be told what to do next.
What You'll Own
Day-to-Day Operations
Run the weekly team rhythm — standups, task tracking, follow-ups
Own ClickUp and Notion: keep SOPs clean, tasks moving, pipelines organized
Coordinate between funnel builders,
Onboard new hires: contracts, NDAs, tool access, checklists
Financial Operations
Monthly cash flow check: compile total salaries + all subscriptions + fixed costs per day
Subscription audit: flag unused tools, catch billing errors, present findings
Work with our finance specialist on bookkeeping inputs
Present a clean monthly one-pager to the founder — no raw data dumps
Infrastructure & Compliance
New market setup: domain,
Backup entity setup: research and open Stripe/PayPal accounts
Handle payment processor ban responses: coordinate store replacements,

Source and screen candidates for open roles
Run first-round interviews and skills tests
Present shortlist to founder — founder does final 30-minute call only
SOP Management
Build and maintain SOPs for all repeatable processes
Document new workflows as the business grows
Keep the team accountable to documented processes
You're the Right Person If
-You've operated in remote teams before, ideally in e-commerce or digital marketing
-You're obsessed with systems — you can't stand a process that isn't documented
-You're comfortable with numbers: cash flow, salary totals, subscription costs
-You communicate in clear, short messages — no fluff
-You can work across multiple tasks without needing daily direction
-You've used ClickUp or similar project management tools at a serious level
-You understand how online advertising businesses work (Meta ads, Shopify, funnels) — you don't need to run ads, but you need to understand the context
Nice to Have
-Experience working with multi-entity companies (different legal entities, markets, payment processors)
-Familiarity with Stripe, PayPal, Wise, Airwallex
-Basic financial reconciliation experience
-Hiring experience in the Philippines or Southeast Asia
