Operations Assistant, Luxury Property Management

We are a luxury property management company based in Byron Bay, Australia, managing a growing portfolio of premium short-term and long-term rental properties.

We're looking for an experienced Property Manager to become a key part of our growth journey.

This is not a typical VA position.

You'll be trusted to manage guest relationships, coordinate property operations, and help deliver exceptional experiences for guests staying in some of Australia's most sought-after holiday homes.

As our portfolio grows, you'll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop into a senior management role within the business.

Responsibilities
- Manage guest inquiries and bookings across Airbnb, ---------- , VRBO, and direct booking channels
- Handle pre-arrival, in-stay, and post-stay guest communications
- Coordinate concierge services and guest experiences
- Coordinate cleaners, maintenance contractors, and service providers
- Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain listings, calendars, and property information within the PMS
- Assist with long-term rental and tenancy management where required

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on short-term rental (STR) property management experience
- Strong written English and professional communication skills
- Experience with Airbnb, Hostaway, Guesty, Lodgify, Hospitable, or similar PMS platforms
- Ability to work Australian EST
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strong Advantage
- Luxury hotel, resort, or premium STR experience
- Long-term rental or tenancy management experience
- PriceLabs or dynamic pricing experience
