News Writer Home-Based Position (Part Time)

Job Summary:

Executive Mosaic is a dynamic online media company that reports major, breaking news in the U.S. Government Contracting marketplace through three daily publications. We’re hiring an experienced writer to produce news reports and related articles for publication across our websites. Our content covers the latest business, technological and political developments concerning GovCon in the U.S.

The Executive Mosaic writer will work to:

1. Produce up to 6 articles per shift. Each article is expected to be between 250 and 750 words.
2. Produce articles that comply with the company’s search engine optimization strategy and standards for quality, especially those that cover accuracy, comprehensiveness and originality.
3. Evaluate the usability of materials provided by the research team and conduct conduct research/look for additional sources as needed for the articles.
4. Use generative artificial intelligence judiciously and skillfully in the conduct of one’s work.
5. Submit all deliverables on time.

The ideal candidate:

Must have experience writing for a print or online publication. Experience using WordPress, implementing the Associated Press Stylebook, and optimizing content for search engines is a plus.
Must be able to learn and write authoritatively about a new or unfamiliar subject matter in a short amount of time.
Must be able to write and speak fluently in American English
