Mobile App Developer (FlutterFlow / No-Code Preferred) – Culture Check™

OVERVIEW
Culture Check™ is a culture-driven trivia and challenge app focused on Black culture, history, and current conversations. The app includes free solo play, paid individual challenges, and daily question notifications, with future plans for group/party play, live events, and brand partnerships.

We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to help finalize, optimize, and scale the Culture Check™ mobile app. This role is ideal for someone experienced with FlutterFlow, Firebase, and API integrations who is comfortable working closely with a founder and using structured documentation and AI-assisted workflows.

This is a project-based role with ongoing opportunities as the app grows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Development

Build and refine the Culture Check™ mobile app for iOS and Android

Implement gameplay modes:

Free Solo Play

Paid Individual Play

Daily Question feature with push notifications

Implement user authentication (email; social login optional)

Connect Firebase or Supabase for:

User accounts

Game progress and scores

Subscription status

Implement in-app purchases and subscriptions

Add ads to free play only (AdMob or similar)

UI / UX Implementation

Translate wireframes and user flows into a clean, intuitive interface

Collaborate with the founder/designer to refine the user experience

Ensure fast load times and simple, game-first navigation

Backend & Integrations

Configure push notifications

Build admin-controlled question packs and categories

Prepare scalable structure for:

Additional question packs

Sponsored content

Future group/party play

Optimize performance and reliability

Testing & Launch

QA testing and bug fixes

Assist with App Store and Google Play submission

Ensure compliance with store policies

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must Have

Experience with FlutterFlow or similar no-code/low-code platforms

Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Functions) or Supabase

iOS and Android app deployment experience

API integrations

Push notification setup

In-app purchases and subscriptions

Nice to Have

Experience with trivia, quiz, or game apps

AdMob or mobile ad integrations

Experience working with startups or founders

Familiarity with Stripe or RevenueCat
