Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role combines technical expertise with project coordination, focusing on metal fabrication design, cost estimation, and project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales, procurement, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Work

AutoCAD 2D/3D & Tekla Drawings: Prepare and edit precise design drawings using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures for industrial door installations
Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and project records.
Design Support: Assist in custom design adjustments to meet specific project requirements.
Quality Control: Review all drawings for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
SolidWorks Expertise: Model, simulate, and optimize metal fabrication components.

Project Management & Coordination

Job Pricing: Conduct detailed cost estimation and quantity surveying work for projects
Material Take-off: Identify and quantify material requirements with precision
Project Coordination: Support project scheduling and timeline management
Reporting: Provide regular progress updates and comprehensive cost reports

Procurement & Client Management

Material Ordering: Coordinate purchasing activities and maintain effective supplier communication
Supplier Coordination: Manage procurement processes and vendor relationships
CRM Updates: Maintain accurate client and project data in our CRM system

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Requirements

Tekla & AutoCAD Proficiency: Advanced skills in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD (2D & 3D applications)
Industry Knowledge: Experience with construction and industrial door systems
Quantity Surveying: Proven experience in cost estimation and QS methodologies
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Professional Skills

Supplier Management: Experience in procurement and supplier coordination
CRM Systems: Familiarity with customer relationship management platforms
Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
