Magazine Designer – Luxury Magazine Layout & Production (Remote / Part-Time)

VEI™ (Vegas Equity Insider) is a growing homeowner and lifestyle publication serving Las Vegas, Nevada.

We are seeking a talented Magazine Designer who can help create a premium, luxury-quality publication each month.

This role is responsible for turning articles, advertisements, and content into a polished magazine that looks professional, modern, and visually appealing.

We are looking for someone who understands layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and magazine production.

This is not a social media design position.

This is a publication design position.

Responsibilities
Design monthly magazine layouts
Create visually appealing page designs
Format contributor articles
Place advertisements within the publication
Maintain brand consistency
Create print-ready PDF files
Assist with Canva templates when needed
Work with Publisher and Managing Editor to finalize each issue
Requirements
Strong graphic design skills
Magazine layout experience
Excellent typography skills
Canva experience
Ability to create luxury and professional designs
Strong attention to detail
Reliable communication
Ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Adobe InDesign experience
Canva Pro experience
Publication design experience
Real estate or lifestyle publication experience

Every month, VEI is delivered as a polished, luxury-quality publication that readers are proud to share and advertisers are proud to appear in.

The final publication should look comparable to premium local magazines and business publications.

Required Portfolio Submission

To be considered for this position, you MUST provide the following:

Three (3) examples of magazine layouts or publication designs you have personally created.
At least one example should demonstrate multi-page magazine formatting.
At least one example should demonstrate strong typography and article layout.
PDF samples are preferred.

Applications submitted without publication or magazine design samples will not be considered.

We are specifically looking for someone who can create clean, professional, luxury-quality magazine layouts that are visually engaging, easy to read, and advertiser-friendly.
