ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a talented, driven Meta Creative Strategist and Video Editor to join Forge & Foundry full-time and remotely from the Philippines.
This is not a junior support role. You will own our creative pipeline end-to-end — identifying winning angles, briefing creators, editing video ads, and managing our UGC pipeline. You'll work directly with the founders and see the direct impact of your work on ad performance and business results.
We currently spend $10,000/month on Meta advertising and are scaling fast. To get there, we need dramatically more creative output. We need 80–120+ assets per month. You'll be the engine that makes that happen.

We design in London, ship worldwide, and are building one of the strongest DTC brands in personalised men's jewellery. We're a commercially sharp, fast-moving team that invests in the people helping us grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
CREATIVE STRATEGY
- Analyse weekly ad performance to identify what's working and why — angle, hook, format, offer, emotion
- Research new creative angles using Meta Ad Library, TikTok, Reddit, Amazon reviews, and competitor analysis
- Develop and maintain a 4–6 week creative testing pipeline — always ahead, never reactive
- Write sharp, platform-native hooks, body copy, and CTAs that drive clicks and conversions
- Brief our AI visual creator on static asset needs with clear creative direction
VIDEO EDITING & PRODUCTION
- Edit UGC footage, product clips, and raw content into finished Meta ads (15–60 seconds)
- Produce hook variants of winning ads — same body, 5 different opening 3 seconds
- Build a template library for fast-turnaround formats: testimonial, price reveal, feature callout, unboxing, ASMR
- Format all assets correctly for Meta placements (9:16, 4:5, 1:1 — safe zones, captions, aspect ratios)
- Target turnaround of 2–4 hours per finished ad edit from raw footage
UGC CREATOR MANAGEMENT
- Manage our UGC pipeline via Influee — outreach, briefing, follow-up, quality control
- Build and maintain a roster of 8–12 active micro-creators shooting content monthly
- Write specific, emotionally-driven creator briefs (not "wear the bracelet" — "film your partner's reaction when they open the package and read the engraving for the first time")
- Coordinate gifting and logistics; ensure creators deliver on brief and on time
YOUR WEEKLY RHYTHM
- Monday: Review last week's performance. Plan the week's creative output. Identify new angles.
- Tuesday–Thursday: Video editing, hook variants, asset production
- Friday: UGC outreach, creator follow-up, brief planning for the following week
- Daily (30 min): Monitor Meta Ad Library and TikTok for creative trends

WEEKLY OUTPUT TARGETS
You'll be held to clear, measurable output from week one:
- Finished video ads (edited, hook-first, caption-ready): 5–8 per week
- Hook variants of existing winning ads: 3–5 per week
- UGC creator briefs sent or followed up: 5–10 per week
- New creative angles researched and logged: 3–5 per week
- New creator briefs written: 2–3 per week

WHO YOU ARE
NON-NEGOTIABLES
- You have a portfolio of Meta and/or TikTok ad edits for DTC product brands. Specifically ads — not general content, not brand films, not lifestyle reels. Ads.
- You can articulate why an ad works. Hook structure, pacing, emotional trigger, retention curve — you think in these terms naturally.
- You're fast. A finished, caption-ready Meta ad edit takes you 2–4 hours from raw footage, not 2 days.
- You're fluent with AI tools — Midjourney, Kling, Runway, Pika, or equivalents — for concept generation and AI video.
- Your written English is strong. Your hooks and copy must be sharp and native-sounding.
- You're self-directed. You don't wait to be told what to make next — you bring ideas, flag opportunities, and drive output independently.
STRONG ADVANTAGES
- Experience with jewellery, fashion, accessories, or gifting brands
- You've managed UGC creator outreach and pipelines before
- You understand Meta performance metrics — CTR, hook rate, thumb-stop ratio, ROAS
- You've worked in-house at a DTC brand, not just agency-side — you have brand ownership mentality
- Experience with Influee, Billo, or similar UGC platforms

ROLE DETAILS

- Rate: $4.50 – $7.50 USD/hour, depending on experience. Reviewed at 3 months.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, UK-aligned overlap required — approx. 12:00–20:00 Philippine Time
- Reports to: Co-Founder / Head of Growth

GETTING STARTED

New hires start at [20 hrs/week OR full-time] for the first 30 days while getting up to speed on the brand and creative standards. [Hours scale to 40/week from day 31 / Full output targets apply from week 5.]
