JOB OVERVIEW

-Job Summary

The Loan Processor is responsible for managing loan files from initial application through closing. This role ensures that all documentation is collected, verified, organized, and submitted accurately while maintaining constant communication with borrowers, lenders, and internal tea ---------- mbers. The Loan Processor plays a critical role in keeping loans moving efficiently and compliant with lender requirements.

-Key Responsibilities

Loan File Management
Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
Collect, organize, and verify borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, property details, etc.)
Maintain complete and up-to-date loan files in the CRM or LOS
Borrower & Partner Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers during processing
Request missing documents and follow up proactively

Communicate with lenders, title companies, appraisers, insurance agents, and attorneys as needed
Processing & Submission
Package loan files according to lender guidelines
Submit complete loan packages to lenders in a timely manner
Track loan status and milestones (appraisal, underwriting, conditions, clear-to-close)

-Conditions & Compliance

Review underwriting conditions and request required items from borrowers
Ensure all conditions are satisfied prior to closing
Verify compliance with lender, investor, and regulatory requirements
Coordination & Closing Support
Coordinate with closers and title companies to ensure smooth closings
Assist with final document review prior to funding
Update internal teams on loan progress and potential issues


-Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a Loan Processor, Mortgage Processor, or similar role with an American Company
Strong understanding of loan documentation and processing workflows
Familiarity with real estate, commercial, or private lending preferred
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously
High attention to detail and accuracy

- Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

Experience with hard money, DSCR, fix & flip, or commercial loans
Familiarity with CRM or LOS platforms (e.g., Mortgage Automator, GHL, Encompass, etc.)
Experience working with brokers, private lenders, or non-QM products
Remote processing experience
