This position is for someone who enjoys solving problems, creating systems, automating workflows, and finding better ways to get work done.

Position Overview

This is not a virtual assistant position.

We are seeking a Director of Legal Technology & Automation to help transform how our law firm operates.

Your mission will be to identify inefficiencies, automate repetitive tasks, connect systems, implement AI solutions, improve reporting, and help the firm scale more efficiently.

You will work directly with firm leadership and department managers to build practical solutions that save time, improve accuracy, and increase productivity.

We are looking for someone who thinks:

"Why are people doing this manually?"

and then builds a better solution.

Responsibilities
Automation & Process Improvement

• Analyze workflows across the firm

• Identify repetitive tasks that can be automated

• Design and implement automation solutions

• Reduce manual data entry and duplicate work

• Improve operational efficiency across departments

AI Implementation

• Evaluate and implement AI tools throughout the firm

• Develop AI-assisted workflows for attorneys, paralegals, intake specialists, and managers

• Create AI systems for summarizing documents, records, and communications

• Stay current on new AI developments and recommend practical applications

• Test emerging technologies and identify opportunities for implementation

Systems Integration

• Connect systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms

• Integrate case management, intake, communication, and reporting systems

• Improve data flow between platforms

• Build solutions that reduce friction and improve visibility

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop management dashboards

• Create operational scorecards

• Build reporting systems for leadership

• Help management make data-driven decisions

Legal Technology

• Support and improve existing legal technology systems

• Assist with Litify, Salesforce, and related platforms

• Recommend and implement new technology solutions

• Document workflows and system processes

• AI-powered intake summaries

• AI-assisted medical record summaries

• Automated review request systems

• Referral tracking automation

• Attorney productivity dashboards

• Case manager workload reporting

• AI-powered document analysis

Required Qualifications

• Experience building business process automations

• Experience with AI tools and automation platforms

• Experience using APIs and system integrations

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong project management skills

• Excellent English communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Experience improving business processes through technology

• Experience with n8n

• Experience with Make.com

• Experience with Zapier

• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms

• Experience with Salesforce

• Experience with Litify

• Experience with law firms or legal technology

• Experience building dashboards and reporting systems

• Experience with database design and workflow automation
