JOB OVERVIEW

The Technical Support Representative plays a critical role in handling urgent, high-pressure inbound calls from customers reporting critical device security warnings. The primary objective is to guide customers through a rigorous system diagnostic process, identify remote vulnerabilities, document indicators of network compromise, and successfully gather essential customer data to transition the file over to federal regulatory verification bodies (such as the FTC)


This is an information-gathering and security lead-generation campaign. No direct sales or upfront collections are required.

Key Responsibilities
Inbound Call Handling: Promptly answer urgent technical support inquiries with empathy, control, and professional authority.

Remote Diagnostic Guidance: Step-by-Step guide customers to safely minimize error screens and initiate secure remote server connections using tools like Anydesk and Ultraviewer.

Data Collection & Documentation: Accurately verify, record, and confirm sensitive customer details including full name, zip code, matching bank card prefixes, and suspicious network activity.

Case Registration & Lead Handoff: Clear up administrative case backlogs, summarize critical diagnostic findings to the customer, issue an official FTC Case ID, and maintain a live line until the call is successfully transitioned to an validation officer.

Work-From-Home (WFH) Equipment Requirements
To ensure data security and real-time processing capabilities, candidates must independently possess and maintain the following infrastructure:

Hardware: Modern laptop or desktop running a fully updated, authentic Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.

Peripherals: A high-quality, professional USB headset equipped with active Noise-Cancellation features to maintain a quiet, secure line.

Internet Connectivity: A highly stable, high-speed wired internet connection (Fiber/DSL preferred) with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download/upload. A backup power supply or mobile data hotspot is highly recommended.
