Lead Full Stack Developer

We are a new social media platform startup redefining community interactions within local communities and we're looking for a goal-driven developer to lead the next phase of our development roadmap.

Lead Full Stack Developer

Reports To
• The Lead Full Stack Developer will report to the Project Manager and Executives.

Job Overview
• The Lead Full Stack Developer will spearhead the software agile development of the software in collaboration with other Full Stack Developers by imposing coding standards like SOLID Principle, doing code reviews, deploying after every 2-week Sprint, and doing a Sprint Review. This is a full-time home-based position with a flexible schedule and focuses on objective outputs and achieving goals.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Lead the daily SCRUM meeting
• Participate in Backlog Creation and Refinement
• Lead the Sprint Review and participate in Sprint Planning, Refinement and Retrospective
• Create database design, architecture, and infrastructure including relative documentation
• Lead the whole frontend and backend development and coding of the software in close collaboration with other Full Stack Developers
• Recommend and integrate third-party API platforms whenever necessary
• Ensure good coding practices and standards by doing code reviews before merging pull requests
• Ensure that everything is working in accordance with the requirements and specification by conducting manual and regression testing
• Ensure that the platform adheres to required security features and standards
• Deploy all developed platforms to AWS, Google Play and App Store after every Sprint
• Update and collaborate via real-time messaging apps (Slack, Discord) and project management tool (ClickUp)
• Ensure that all tasks are done in a timely manner as much as possible

Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years developing mobile apps using React Native
• Minimum of 4 years developing web apps using ReactJS
• Minimum of 4 years developing back-end apps using Laravel
• Minimum of 2 years deploying apps using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Minimum of 3 years releasing apps in Google Play Store and App Store
• Minimum of 4 years using code repository tools like GitHub or GitLab
• Knowledge in using Firebase, Google Maps, LocationIQ and Twilio is a plus

Misc. Requirements
• Must be able to build both Android and iOS version of the mobile app using Windows and macOS
• Should have a dedicated working space at home with at least 20mpbs internet speed
• No educational qualification is required, character and working experience is what’s important to us
