JOB OVERVIEW

Launch Marketing & Conversion Manager
Paid Ads / Lead Generation / Sales Funnel Execution — Project-Based

Remote | 4–6 Week Project | Budget-Conscious | B2B Event Launch | Music / Sync Industry

Important: Please only apply if you can show proof of campaigns you personally executed that generated paid clients, ticket sales, bookings, applications, memberships, or measurable revenue.

Generic applications without proof, results, screenshots, case studies, dashboards, campaign reports, or Loom walkthroughs will not be shortlisted.

We are looking for a commercially minded Launch Marketing & Conversion Manager to execute and optimise the launch of an upcoming paid B2B event series, Closing the Deal.

This is not a basic CRM setup role, VA role, social media scheduling role, or strategy-only consulting role.

We already have CRM setup support. What we need now is someone who can take our existing launch plan, improve it commercially, execute the marketing and sales activity, run paid campaigns where appropriate, and help turn current and new leads into paying attendees or clients.

This role requires both strategy and hands-on execution.

About the Event

Closing the Deal is a selective 3-part sync strategy series for music companies, publishers, catalogue owners, rights-holders, and sync departments.

The event focuses on:

• trusted positioning
• stronger catalogue return
• repeat sync relationships
• reducing friction
• strategic follow-up
• long-term music partnerships

What You Will Own

• Review and improve the existing launch plan
• Execute the marketing campaign across agreed channels
• Plan, set up, manage, monitor, and optimise paid campaigns where appropriate
• Identify the strongest buyer segments and messaging angles
• Reactivate current warm leads and past prospects
• Support new lead generation
• Improve sales funnel and application-to-payment conversion
• Work with our CRM/support person so the lead flow supports sales properly
• Recommend and execute weekly actions to increase paid conversions
• Track leads, applications, approvals, payments, and drop-off points
• Help optimise email, social, advert, and follow-up messaging
• Report clearly on what is working, what is not, and what needs changing

Execution Ownership

This is a hands-on execution role.

We are not looking for someone who only provides advice, a strategy document, or generic campaign ideas.

The right person will be expected to actively execute agreed launch activity, including lead reactivation, campaign setup, paid ad setup/management where appropriate, follow-up activity, funnel optimisation, and weekly conversion tracking.

You must be comfortable taking ownership of outcomes, not just completing isolated tasks.

Weekly Reporting

You will be expected to report weekly on:

• leads generated
• warm leads reactivated
• applications started
• applications completed
• approvals
• payments
• cost per lead where ads are used
• cost per application where ads are used
email replies / clicks
• advert performance
• drop-off points
• recommended next actions to increase paid conversions

This role is judged on commercial movement, not vanity metrics.

Ideal Experience

• paid ads setup, management, monitoring, and optimisation
• launch marketing execution
• B2B lead generation
• webinar/event/programme launches
email reactivation campaigns
• sales funnel optimisation
• lead conversion tracking
• Meta, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, or TikTok ads
email marketing and nurture campaigns
• CRM/funnel awareness
• premium or B2B offers
• experience turning warm leads into paid clients/customers

Proof Required

Your application must include:

1. One specific example of a launch, funnel, paid ads campaign, webinar, event, membership, or service campaign where you helped generate paying clients, ticket sales, bookings, memberships, applications, or revenue.

2. The measurable results, where possible, such as leads generated, sales, bookings, ticket sales, revenue, conversion rate, cost per lead, ROAS, reply rate, or before/after improvement.

3. What you personally owned and executed in that campaign.

4. Which paid ad platforms you have personally set up, managed, monitored, and optimised.

5. Proof of previous work. This can include redacted screenshots, Loom walkthroughs, dashboards, ad account screenshots, funnel screenshots, campaign reports, email results, CRM/sales pipeline examples, or case studies.

6. How you would approach selling more places for a premium B2B event using current warm leads, an existing audience, and new lead generation.

7. What you would personally execute in the first 7 days if hired.

8. Your availability over the next 4–6 weeks.

9. Your project rate, hourly rate, or launch management fee.

Budget / Pay Structure

This is a budget-conscious project, so please propose a realistic structure based on your experience and proof of results.

We are open to:

• a fixed project fee for the 4–6 weeks
• an hourly rate with an agreed weekly cap
• a short paid first-week trial
• a performance bonus for measurable paid conversions

Paid ad spend is separate from your service fee.

Please include your recommended pricing structure in your application.

Please be specific about what you personally owned, executed, and delivered versus what the wider team or client handled.
