Key Account & Channel Development Officer
Purpose of the Role
The Key Account & Channel Development Officer is responsible for driving the growth, visibility, and execution quality of affiliated brands within Watsons Philippines.
The role acts as the brand's representative in the market, ensuring that product assortment, shelf visibility, merchandising standards, promotions, inventory health, trade marketing strategy, store execution monitoring, performance optimization and distributor execution are consistently maintained across all retail locations.
This position does not manage or employ Beauty Advisors or retail staff. Instead, the role influences execution through audits, training, business reviews, standards implementation, distributor coordination, and strategic recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Retail Execution Monitoring
- Conduct structured store audits across Watsons branches
- Evaluate:
- SKU availability
- Shelf visibility
- Planogram compliance
- POP execution
- Tester presence
- Competitor positioning
- Identify execution gaps and recommend corrective actions

2. Display & Merchandising Management
Ensure all stores comply with O.TWO.O merchandising standards.
- Develop and maintain brand merchandising guidelines
- Ensure consistent execution of:
- Shelf layout standards
- Visual merchandising direction
- Campaign display guidelines
- Track compliance rates across stores

3. Distributor Execution Alignment
- Coordinate implementation of marketing programs with authorized distributors
- Monitor execution of:

4. Trade Marketing Strategy
- Support development of retail activation plans
