Location: Remote (Philippines preferred)
Commitment: 30–40 hours/week
Contract Type: Per hour/ Monthly freelance retainer

About the Role
We are building a next-generation analytics platform focused on financial markets, data pipelines, and custom dashboards. We're looking for a hands-on junior developer to assist with backend and frontend development, particularly using Python, APIs, PostgreSQL, and Streamlit/React.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity for someone eager to build real products, automate workflows, and grow their skills through direct mentorship.

Your Core Responsibilities
Write and maintain Python scripts for:

Data extraction (APIs/web scraping)

Data cleaning and transformation (Pandas)

Task automation and scheduling

Manage and query PostgreSQL databases

Build and improve dashboards using Streamlit or React (ShadCN + Tailwind)

Integrate APIs and design modular, reusable components

Perform basic QA on outputs and troubleshoot issues

Maintain clean code and documentation

Required Skills
Good Python programming fundamentals

Familiarity with Pandas, JSON, API requests

Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

Comfortable using Git and VS Code or similar tools

Some exposure to:

Streamlit or React (Tailwind, ShadCN preferred)

REST APIs and authentication

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn fast

Other skills (Not Required, but Nice to Have)
Interest in financial markets or dashboard design

Cloud deployment

Experience with SQL automation, cron jobs, or data pipelines

Worked on personal or class projects using similar tools
