Inventory / Purchasing Analyst

Location: Fully Remote
Pay Rate: $12 – $15 per hour

Topline Heating and Air is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory / Purchasing Analyst to take ownership of inventory management and purchasing decisions. This is not a data-entry role. We are looking for someone who can analyze inventory trends, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing decisions to support operational efficiency and budget goals.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and line-item accuracy across systems
Identify discrepancies and ensure inventory data integrity
Forecast inventory needs based on historical data, demand patterns, and business requirements
Create and manage purchase orders aligned with forecasting and budget guidelines
Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure inventory availability and cost efficiency
Review supplier orders and adjust purchasing strategies as needed
Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
Support continuous improvement of inventory tracking and purchasing processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain preferred
Ability to move beyond data entry into analysis and decision-making
High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and records
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, inventory systems, or ERP tools
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
