We are looking for a professional who can lead the first step of our hiring process. This person will conduct introductory interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience while gathering key insights into their interpersonal and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct the initial interview with candidates as the first stage of the hiring process.
- Introduce and explain our company’s business model, mission, and values clearly to candidates.
- Ask structured and situational questions to assess interpersonal communication, professionalism, and cultural fit.
- Evaluate candidates’ baseline technical skills through prepared questions or problem scenarios.
- Take detailed notes and provide structured feedback to the hiring team for next-round decisions.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates to ensure a professional experience.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain business models clearly.
- Previous experience in interviewing, recruitment, HR, or client-facing roles.
- Ability to assess both interpersonal skills (soft skills) and technical aptitude at an introductory level.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of documenting candidate responses effectively.
- Professional, approachable demeanor with strong listening skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the IT/technology sector or familiarity with common technical concepts.
- Background in HR, recruitment, or technical staffing.
- Ability to adapt interviewing style to different candidate backgrounds and seniority levels.
