Instagram/Youtube Video Editor

I am a nutrition/fitness/food content creator looking for another 1-2 skilled and reliable video editors to join my team. If you have graphic design experience/abilities as well, that’s great. My Instagram accounts ---------- ---------- (Check them out so you have an idea of my videos).

Key roles
- Edit multiple Instagram reels weekly w/ thumbnails. These usually range from 5-60 seconds. I will pay you $4 per reel w/ thumbnail. You can edit as many or as few as you prefer.
- You will need experience editing YouTube videos for the future. I pay more for these, but have not assigned them yet. Right now, I am primarily focused on short form content for the next few months.

Requirements
- Reliable internet w/ computer access.
- Reliable, hard working person w/ good communication: responding to emails/messages within 24 hours during the week.
- Experienced w/ common editing softwares/apps/AI.
- Understanding of engaging, viral, and storytelling content. (Look at these IG ---------- ----------
- Speaks English well. I send instructions via Loom videos.

I expect my editors to edit with any advanced technique necessary. Some of my videos are simpler and some are more complex, but be prepared for anything.

Benefits
- Clear systems: If you get hired, there are clear instructions for expectations and work flow while allowing for creative freedom.
- Growth opportunities: I have experience working with plenty of other editors for many years. If you do good work on time, are constantly improving, and your videos go viral often, I will increase your pay in the future. However, the pay is non-negotiable at first because that would be unfair to my current editors.
- Education: I periodically send out creators to study to all my editors so they can get better.
- Reliable and flexible work: You will have work every single week and you can take on as many or as few videos as you prefer every week (minimum: 2 videos per week).
- Reliable pay and job security: I always pay my editors on time once the final draft of videos are completed. I pay through Wise and you will never lose your job so long as you continue to meet expectations.
- Easy boss: I am easy to work with and communicate with. If you need a vacation or need to communicate anything, just let me know ahead of time.

Only apply if you are highly skilled and reliable. You should be reliable enough to meet reasonable deadlines. Vacations and emergencies are ok, but I will not allow them constantly especially at first.

If I think you might be a good match, I will email you back with a test project after you apply. I expect the first draft to be completed within 24-72 hours. After that, we will go over a few sets of revisions. You’re welcome to ask as many questions throughout as needed.

After your revisions, I will determine if your test project meets publishing standards. If it does, I will pay you for the test project and likely hire you onto my team.

There will be a lot of people applying, so be patient yet ready for a potential response. It might take me a few weeks or more to look through all applications.
