Immediate Need: Hiring UI/UX Designer (Remote)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior UI/UX Designer with expertise in Figma to join our dynamic team. You should have a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with demonstrated success in leading design ---------- this role, you will lead our design processes, create engaging user experiences, and mentor junior designers. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

UI/UX Designer Responsibilities:

- Lead and facilitate design brainstorming and ideation sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Understand and translate user needs, business requirements, and technical capabilities into innovative and compelling design solutions.
- Develop high-level and detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Use Figma to create engaging, efficient, and user-friendly designs.
- Conduct user research, user testing, and analytics to inform design decisions.
- Influence and implement evolving UI/UX industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with other senior designers and stakeholders to create a coherent vision of user experiences.
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers to ensure best practices and quality.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.

Required Skills/Experience:

- Degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or lead role.
- A portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in design software, especially Figma.
- Solid experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Advanced understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to drive and oversee projects to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior design staff.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Proficiency in HTML/CSS.
Certification in User Experience (like NN/g's UX Certification).
Prior experience in a lead role on large-scale, complex projects.
