IOS/Android App Developer

We are building a Christian-based Bible reading and reflection mobile app that helps individuals and partners grow in faith together through daily reading, guided reflections, and prayer features. The app is already in development with a strong code foundation, and we are looking for a dedicated developer to help finish remaining features and maintain the app long-term by fixing bugs and improving stability.

This role is part-time (20 hours per week) and remote, ideal for a skilled developer who is also a Christian and understands the importance of building tools that encourage spiritual growth.

Responsibilities
? Collaborate to complete unfinished features in the app (onboarding flow, partnered reading plans, reflection questions, Bible integration, etc.).
? Maintain and debug the app to ensure smooth performance across iOS and Android devices.
? Work on UI/UX refinements based on user feedback to keep the app simple and engaging.
? Help with API integrations (Bible text, authentication, notifications, etc.).
? Ensure the app is updated regularly and remains compatible with the latest OS versions.
? Participate in short weekly check-ins to provide updates and plan upcoming tasks.

Requirements
? Strong experience in React Native or similar mobile app frameworks (Flutter, Swift, Kotlin experience a plus).
? Understanding of API integration and state management.
? Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work.
? Must be a Christian and comfortable working on a Bible-based app designed to encourage spiritual growth.
? Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Nice to Have
? Experience working with Bible APIs or text-based content integrations.
? Familiarity with Supabase (authentication, push notifications, analytics).
? Previous experience building apps for Christian ministries or faith-based communities.
