JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a HubSpot CRM Developer to work with us on an independent contractor basis.

This is not an employment role. The engagement is outcome-driven, with clearly defined deliverables and timelines. The contractor is expected to work independently, manage their own schedule, and remain reasonably available during agreed working hours for coordination and reviews.

We are looking for someone with solid, hands-on experience working with HubSpot CRM on real projects. This includes configuring objects and properties, building workflows, automations, and pipelines, and implementing custom logic beyond basic out-of-the-box setup. You should be comfortable working in live production portals and client-facing environments and taking responsibility for the quality, stability, and data integrity of your work.

The role requires a strong understanding of HubSpot core concepts, including CRM objects (contacts, companies, deals, tickets), custom properties, pipelines, workflow automation, and lists/segmentation. You should be able to work confidently with HubSpot’s workflow builder, custom code actions (using JavaScript in HubSpot Functions where needed), and have practical knowledge of APIs and webhooks to integrate HubSpot with third-party systems. A working understanding of HubSpot user permissions, data model design, and how HubSpot interacts with external tools in a typical B2B stack is important.

You should also be comfortable configuring and working with commonly used HubSpot Sales and Marketing tools, including forms, CTAs, sequences, email templates, and basic reporting. Routine operational tasks such as maintaining data hygiene, managing imports/exports, updating properties, monitoring workflow performance, and handling basic performance or deliverability issues should be familiar to you. Experience with custom integrations (for example, connecting HubSpot with other CRMs, ticketing tools, or data platforms) is a plus, as long as you understand the underlying API behavior and are not fully dependent on prebuilt connectors.

We value reliability, clear communication, and consistency. This role is best suited for someone who takes ownership of delivery, estimates effort realistically, communicates clearly when there are blockers, and does not require close supervision to move work forward.

The contractor will use their own tools and methods and will not be entitled to employee benefits. Long-term collaboration is possible based on performance and mutual fit.
