About Set 2 Close

Set 2 Close is a revenue operations and enablement agency that helps businesses optimize their marketing, sales, and customer success systems for predictable growth. We bridge the gap between strategy, technology, and execution by helping clients build better systems, improve workflows, and create scalable digital experiences.

We are looking for a HubSpot CMS & UX/UI Web Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong front-end development skills with a sharp eye for user experience and visual design. The right candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients to design, build, and optimize web pages inside HubSpot CMS / Content Hub.

Role Overview
The HubSpot CMS & UX/UI Web Developer will be responsible for creating responsive, user-friendly, and visually polished web pages using HubSpot CMS. This person should be well-versed in HubSpot’s CMS capabilities, including website building, templates, modules, HubDB, integrations, and front-end customization.

This role is primarily focused on HubSpot CMS web design and development, but experience with HubSpot reporting, analytics, pipelines, marketing campaigns, and general HubSpot administration will be valuable.

We are looking for someone who can take client requirements, translate them into strong UX/UI designs, and then build functional, scalable web pages within HubSpot.

* Key Responsibilities
HubSpot CMS Web Design & Development
Design, build, and maintain responsive web pages using HubSpot CMS / Content Hub.
Develop and customize HubSpot templates, themes, modules, landing pages, and website pages.
Use HTML, CSS, HubL, and basic JavaScript to create clean, scalable, and functional front-end experiences.
Build modular page designs that are easy for clients and internal teams to update.
Work with HubDB to create dynamic content and database-driven web pages.
Support the setup and customization of HubSpot CMS assets, including forms, CTAs, menus, blog templates, and global content.
Ensure websites and landing pages are optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences.

* UX/UI Design
Create clean, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces.
Translate client brand guidelines, marketing goals, and business requirements into strong web experiences.
Apply UX/UI best practices to improve usability, navigation, page flow, and conversion performance.
Design wireframes, mockups, or page layouts when needed before development.
Balance design aesthetics with practical, functional, and scalable implementation inside HubSpot.

* Client-Facing Collaboration
Work directly with clients to understand their website needs, page requirements, branding, and desired user experience.
Communicate technical and design decisions clearly to both clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with marketing strategists, RevOps specialists, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality HubSpot CMS projects.
Gather feedback, make revisions, and ensure final web pages align with client expectations.

* HubSpot Marketing & CRM Support
Assist with building and supporting HubSpot marketing campaigns.
Help create and optimize landing pages, forms, workflows, email assets, and campaign-related web pages.
Support basic HubSpot reporting and analytics setup.
Assist with HubSpot pipeline setup, basic CRM configuration, and marketing/sales process support when needed.
Use HubSpot reporting tools to help clients understand website performance, campaign results, and conversion activity.

* Testing, Optimization & Maintenance
Test pages across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
Troubleshoot layout, styling, responsiveness, and CMS-related issues.
Optimize pages for speed, SEO, accessibility, and conversion best practices.
Maintain clean, organized, and reusable front-end code.
Identify opportunities to improve existing HubSpot CMS pages, templates, and user experiences.

* Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience designing and developing websites inside HubSpot CMS / Content Hub.
Strong front-end development skills, especially in HTML, CSS, and HubL.
Working knowledge of JavaScript is preferred.
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
Experience building responsive websites and landing pages.
Experience working with HubSpot templates, modules, themes, and CMS page editing tools.
Familiarity with HubDB and dynamic content inside HubSpot.
Ability to build visually appealing designs and translate them into functional web pages.
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
Ability to collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams.
Understanding of SEO, accessibility, website speed, and conversion best practices.
Ability to work during Pacific Standard Time business hours.
A portfolio showcasing HubSpot CMS, UX/UI, web design, or front-end development work is required.

* Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with HubSpot Content Hub Remix.
Experience creating custom HubSpot themes and reusable modules.
Experience with HubSpot marketing tools, email campaigns, workflows, forms, and CTAs.
Experience setting up HubSpot dashboards, reports, and basic analytics.
Experience building or supporting HubSpot pipelines.
Basic understanding of RevOps, CRM systems, lead generation, and marketing automation.
Experience using design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Canva, or similar platforms.
Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.

* Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hybrid designer and developer who understands both how a website should look and how it should function. You are creative, detail-oriented, and technically capable. You can work with a client to understand their vision, design a strong user experience, and build it inside HubSpot CMS.
You should be comfortable taking ownership of HubSpot CMS projects, from page layout and UX/UI design to front-end implementation and troubleshooting. You enjoy creating web pages that are not only visually strong but also functional, responsive, and easy to manage.

This role is best suited for someone who can communicate clearly, work independently, collaborate with internal teams, and deliver high-quality HubSpot CMS experiences for clients.

* Compensation & Benefits
