Hiring: CapCut Video Editor (Project-Based)

We are a content agency looking for a reliable CapCut Video Editor to create engaging content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This is a project-based role, with work assigned based on client needs and the opportunity for ongoing collaboration if the fit is strong.

The ideal candidate can consistently deliver high-quality edits, work efficiently, communicate clearly, and follow established workflows.

Requirements

- Good English and strong communication skills
- Respond to work messages during work hours within 10 minutes
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile and desktop editing apps
- Trustworthy, organized, and detail-oriented
- Reliable internet connection

Schedule

- Available during work hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM Philippine Time
- Must be responsive and available for communication during these hours when assigned work

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Ensure videos are engaging, clean, and high quality
- Edit and prepare content using CapCut
- Organize content and workflows using Notion
- Manage files using Google Drive
- Add captions and make revisions based on feedback
- Communicate with the team via WhatsApp and ----------

Note: Most projects involve straightforward short-form editing, including cutting and trimming clips, adding captions, basic zooms, simple transitions, sound effects, and occasional light animations. Complex motion graphics, advanced visual effects, or highly animated edits are generally not required.

Compensation

- Paid per approved edit delivered
- Rates range from Php ---------- per edit depending on complexity and length
- A typical Php 300 edit includes straightforward editing such as trimming clips, adding captions, basic transitions, simple zoom effects, speaker cuts, and minor visual enhancements similar to the examples above
- More advanced edits that require additional editing time, custom animations, extensive motion graphics, heavy visual effects, or other complex creative work will be compensated at higher rates
- Opportunity for ongoing collaboration if the working relationship is a good fit
