GHL Architect: AI Chatbots, Automations, Membership Platform, Data Capture & Segmentation

About the Role

We are building Headlinerz International ( ---------- ): an international platform for independent music artists with free + paid memberships, ecommerce, and full data capture with segmentation.

We need a systems builder who can architect and implement the automation backbone inside GoHighLevel (GHL) and also build/coordinate components outside of GHL when necessary (custom pages/portal features, webhook endpoints, lightweight databases, and integrations).

This is not a basic funnel role. This is a platform systems architecture + implementation role.

What You’ll Own
1) Data Capture + Segmentation (Top Priority)

Design a clean custom field + tag taxonomy that stays organized long-term

Build onboarding/profile flows that collect structured data (artist identity, goals, stage, genre, country/location, monetization readiness, behaviors)

Implement segmentation rules for lifecycle stages:

Free ? Engaged ? Upgrade-Ready ? Paid ? Retained

Maintain data hygiene: deduplication, normalization, naming conventions, and documentation

2) GoHighLevel Systems Build

Workflows, triggers, campaigns, pipelines, calendars, opportunity stages

Automated nurture sequences and routing logic based on segmentation

Membership access logic (GHL membership and/or hybrid approach)

Basic dashboards/reporting for conversion and upgrade visibility

3) Membership + Ecommerce Automation

Stripe-based subscription states: active, past-due, canceled, upgraded, refunded

Purchase-triggered automation (tagging/fields, access provisioning, retention, winback)

Upgrade/downgrade logic that’s clean and support-friendly

4) AI Chatbots + AI Automation

Deploy AI chatbot experiences that guide users, answer FAQs, route support, and drive upgrades

Connect chatbot outcomes into CRM logic (tags/fields + next-step workflows)

Build with Make / Zapier / n8n, webhooks, and APIs

Guardrails + escalation logic + basic logging

5) Components Outside of GHL (Required)

You must be able to build or coordinate:

Webhooks/API endpoints (receive, validate, route data)

Lightweight databases when needed (Airtable / Supabase / Firebase / Postgres)

Custom pages or portal components beyond GHL’s limits

Integration “spine” that keeps systems consistent

Non-Negotiables

Proof of real work: You must be willing to screen share a real GHL workflow you built (sanitized is fine).

Documentation discipline: diagrams/SOPs + a clear “how it works” for what you build.

Reliability: consistent communication cadence, blockers raised early, no disappearing.

Maintainable systems: no black boxes; everything must be handoff-ready.

Required Experience

Strong hands-on GoHighLevel (GHL) experience (workflows, pipelines, integrations)

Automation tools: Make / Zapier / n8n with webhook-based integrations

AI chatbot deployment experience (site chat + routing)

Stripe subscription/ecommerce automation experience

Strong segmentation mindset (tags vs fields vs stages vs events)

Ability to work outside of GHL (webhooks/APIs + basic dev competency)

Nice to Have

Supabase/Firebase/Airtable architecture experience

Front-end skills (React/Next/Webflow/WordPress) for premium pages/portal UI

International user considerations (country segmentation, deliverability hygiene, consent basics)

Analytics/attribution discipline (UTMs, events, conversion tracking)

How We Select (Recorded Video Interview + Blueprint Review)

We run a structured selection process:

Recorded video interview (screen share required)

We walk through the platform blueprint and evaluate your recommended build approach

Your answers will be captured via AI note-taking for review

During the interview, you must be able to clearly explain:

What belongs in GHL vs outside GHL

The segmentation/data model

The build sequence (what to build first and why)

Failure handling + monitoring approach
