We're seeking an experienced FULL STACK DEVELOPER to "level up" our website. You'll analyze our current setup, implement modern features, optimize performance, and build scalable systems to support user growth. This role involves hands-on development to enhance Ul/UX, add interactive marketplace functionalities, and integrate secure e-commerce tools. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with the team to assess and refactor existing codebase (potentially PHP-based) for better architecture and scalability.

- Develop front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React.js or Vue.js) to create responsive, mobile-friendly designs with advanced search, filters, and dynamic listings.

- Build and maintain back-end services (e.g., using Node.js, PHP/Laravel, or Python/Django) for database management, API endpoints, user authentication, and vendor dashboards.

- Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways (Stripe/PayPal), analytics (Google Analytics), and media handling for images/videos.

- Optimize site performance, SEO, and security (e.g., HTTPS, data encryption, compliance with privacy regs).

- Add features like user accounts, listing uploads, real-time notifications, and blog enhancements.

- Deploy updates using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Heroku) and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

- Test for bugs, conduct code reviews, and provide documentation for future maintenance.


**Required Qualifications:**

- 5+ years of full stack development experience, with a focus on e-commerce or marketplace platforms (e.g., similar to eBay, Craigslist, or specialized industry sites).

- Strong proficiency in front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+, React.js or Vue.js, and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.

- Solid back-end skills: Node.js/Express, PHP (Laravel/Symfony), Python, or similar; experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.

- Familiarity with e-commerce integrations (payments, shipping APIs) and web performance optimization (e.g., lazy loading, caching).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.


**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience in the aviation or niche marketplace industry.

- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines).

- Portfolio showcasing modern web apps with user-generated content and dynamic features.

- Understanding of SEO best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG).
