Job Description
Frisco Web Agency is hiring a full-time Web Designer & Developer to join our remote team. We're a fast-growing U.S.-based web design and SEO agency that builds custom, high-performing websites to help small businesses grow.
You’ll work directly with the founder to implement websites end-to-end using detailed SOPs, checklists, and playbooks. This is a high-ownership, execution-first role — not passive support work. You must be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to lead your function.
If you're a creative problem-solver who thrives on clarity, structure, and high standards — and wants long-term career growth, provision, and impact — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Build and update websites using mainly Webflow, and sometimes WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix
Write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance site functionality
Implement SEO best practices (semantic HTML, headings, schema, internal linking)
Execute all development tasks using SOPs and checklists
Build embeds, global classes, and reusable components
Troubleshoot and fix technical SEO issues in Ahrefs and GSC
Use tools like ImageFX and stock sites for visuals
Perform responsive QA reviews across browsers/devices
Follow and implement brand guidelines (fonts, colors, logo usage, etc.)
Collaborate on wireframe approvals in Relume
Operate inside tools like ClickUp, ChatGPT, Beam Us Up, and GoHighLevel
Document all recurring tasks via Loom, Google Docs, or internal wikis
Communicate proactively and set realistic timelines
Join team syncs daily — twice a day for the first 30 days
Non-Responsibilities
You will not:
Manage ads (but will collaborate with the ads team)
Write full marketing copy (but should understand web-friendly phrasing)
Build complex backend systems (but must navigate dev tools confidently)
Lead UI design (but must understand and implement clean design principles)
Manage SEO strategy (but will implement SEO-related technical tasks and uploads)
Minimum Requirements
Fluent written and verbal English
Excellent attention to detail and task follow-through
Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience working on multiple website platforms
Understanding of UX and web design principles
Ability to follow SOPs and documented processes
Experience with ClickUp or another PM tool
Ownership mindset — solves problems without needing hand-holding
Deadline-driven and communicative
Fast learner with initiative to self-research
Proactive and independent — not reactive or passive
Preferred Skills (Can Be Taught During Onboarding)
Webflow (CMS, components, animations, custom code)
Relume for wireframes and approvals
ImageFX or AI tools for image generation
Finsweet tools and attributes
Basic SEO tools: Ahrefs, GSC, schema
Canva or Photoshop (for basic visual edits)
Familiarity with Beam Us Up, Loom, Airtable, GoHighLevel, Make/Zapier
Comfortable creating documentation (screen recordings, SOPs, how-tos)
What We Expect in the First 30 Days
Navigate core tools: Webflow, ClickUp, Ahrefs, GSC, Relume
Understand our use of CMS, embeds, and global components
Begin resolving technical SEO issues
Build pages using pre-approved wireframes and SOPs
Document all repeatable processes as you learn them
Show proactive communication, fast turnaround, and organized task tracking
Technical Requirements
Stable internet connection: 10 Mbps minimum
Reliable laptop or desktop (preferably 8GB RAM or more)
Backup internet or mobile hotspot plan
Quiet environment for virtual meetings
