About Us
Style n Stay is an innovative Australian property business based in Canberra. We manage over 30 furnished rental properties and combine short-term accommodation management with property styling services for investors and homeowners.
We are growing rapidly and are looking for a reliable, proactive, and highly organised Operations Assistant who wants to build a long-term career with our business.
This is not just a VA position. We are looking for someone who can become a key member of our team and help improve systems, processes, and daily operations.
Responsibilities
Short-Term Rental Operations
Manage reservations and bookings through Hostaway
Guest communication and support
Calendar management and booking coordination
Coordinate cleaners and maintenance contractors
Monitor reservations, payments, and guest issues
Assist with owner reporting
Airbnb and OTA administration
Bookkeeping & Administration
Create and track invoices
Record expenses and receipts
Assist with bank reconciliations
Xero bookkeeping support
BAS preparation support
Coordinate contractor payments
Data entry and reporting
General administrative support
Marketing & Business Support
Canva design and marketing materials
Social media scheduling
CRM updates
Research tasks
SOP and process documentation
Business improvement projects
Essential Skills & Experience
Required
Experience with Hostaway or similar STR software
Experience managing Airbnb or short-term rentals
Experience using Xero
Strong written and spoken English
Excellent organisational skills
High attention to detail
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently
Highly Desirable
Australian bookkeeping experience
Australian property management experience
Real estate accounting experience
Social media management experience
SOP and process documentation experience
Customer service experience
Working Hours
Full-time position
Long-term role
Must have overlap with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)
Reliable high-speed internet required
