Full-Time Finance & Operations Analyst (Remote) — Own Our Numbers
Company: BuiltWell Group — property rehabs, turns & renovations (US) Type: Full-time · Remote · Long-term Languages: English and Spanish (both required)
We're looking for one exceptional person to own our numbers end-to-end. We rehab properties and move fast — and we need someone who always knows exactly where our money is: the profit on every property, what we're spending on materials and labor as a job evolves, what's owed vs. collected, and how our investors' money is doing.
This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role reporting straight to the founder. Do it well and you grow into running our whole financial operation.
What you'll do
Track gross profit on every property — live, from day one to close. Know material and labor spend in the first few days, then keep it updated as the job moves.
Relentlessly chase missing data from subs, project managers, VAs, and clients (in English and Spanish) until every number is in. This is the heart of the job.
Run payroll and manage investor portfolio accounts (track, reconcile, report — you don't make investment decisions).
Produce clean profit and investor reports on our 15th/30th pay cadence.
Work hand-in-hand with our accountant so your numbers always tie out to the books.
Improve our in-house apps when needed — small, careful edits to our web tools (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and Supabase database, always with founder approval.
You must have
Relentless follow-up — you don't stop until the number is in. (Our #1 trait.)
Fluent English AND Spanish, written and spoken.
Strong with numbers/money — gross profit, margins, billed vs. collected, reconciliation, payroll.
Basic coding — comfortable editing HTML/CSS/JavaScript and a Supabase/Postgres database without breaking anything. (Not a senior engineer — just careful and capable.)
Spreadsheet fluency (Excel/Sheets), obsessive accuracy, and total trustworthiness with money (references + background check).
Nice to have: real estate/construction, accounting/payroll (QuickBooks, Gusto), investor reporting experience.
How to apply — do all 4 or you'll be skipped
A 2–3 min video: "A sub won't send a price we need to close out a property's profit, and the PM keeps saying 'I'll get it.' What do you do over the next 48 hours?"
A spreadsheet you built that calculates profit from a few line items (show your formulas).
Proof you can code a little — a link to anything you've built/edited, or a short screen recording of you changing a value in a simple HTML page.
One line: the most relentless thing you've ever done to get something across the finish line.
Subject line: I own the numbers — [your name]
Applications without all four are not reviewed. We're hiring for relentlessness and accuracy over résumés.
