Full-Time Filipino App Developer + AI Integration Specialist (Remote) Fix, Maintain & Improve App • Set Up My Computer

Job Description

I am looking for a long-term Filipino app developer who can take over the technical side of my mobile app. The app was delivered by a freelancer, but I need someone who can understand the source code, fix issues, rewrite features if necessary, and handle all updates going forward.

You will also help organize and clean up my computer, install development tools, and fully set up my environment so the app can be updated smoothly.

This is an ongoing role — I want one reliable developer I can work with long-term.

????? Responsibilities

App Development & Maintenance

Review and understand existing source code

Fix bugs, errors, crashes, and performance issues

Rewrite/upgrade features when needed

Connect the app properly to Firebase

Handle VPS, hosting, and domain-related tasks

Build Android/iOS versions for deployment

Set up GitHub so the project is safely backed up

Be available for continuous updates and technical support

Computer Setup & Organization

Install all required tools:

Node.js

Android Studio

Xcode (if needed)

VS Code

Git / GitHub Desktop

Any required SDKs or frameworks

Fix paths, permissions, and environment variables

Set up a clean development workflow for future updates

Strong experience in mobile app development

Can read & understand someone else’s code

Familiar with Firebase (Auth, Database, Storage, Firestore)

Experience with hosting/VPS setups (Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.)

Able to debug and fix code quickly

Strong understanding of Git and GitHub

Excellent English communication

Organized and detail-oriented

Bonus Skills (not required but helpful):

UI/UX improvements

API integrations

Basic backend experience (Node, PHP, or similar)
