Full-Stack Web Developer (Shopify, Gatsby, NextJS)

We are seeking an experienced Full-stack Web Developer to build a Shopify store based on a reference site. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Shopify development, with a focus on customizing themes and optimizing site performance. This project is expected to be the first of many recurring projects, with ongoing freelance work available for future Shopify and possibly NextJS/Gatsby-based applications. Familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.

Project Overview:

• Objective: Develop a fully functional Shopify store based on a provided reference site.
• Design: Reference site will be provided to guide the development process, with some customization expected.
• Future Work: Ongoing opportunities to work on additional Shopify stores and potentially NextJS/Gatsby applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a customized Shopify store based on the provided reference site.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various devices (mobile is the most important platform).
• Optimize the store for speed and performance.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the final product meets all specifications and is delivered on time.
• Participate in future projects involving Shopify and potentially NextJS/Gatsby.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Shopify development, including theme customization.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Ability to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with building and customizing Shopify stores.
• Familiarity with NextJS and Gatsby is a plus.
