Overview
Orange Helm is a US-based Venture Studio looking for a highly skilled Duda Web Developer to join our growing creative team. You’ll be the technical backbone behind websites for Orange Helm’s portfolio companies and client partners—building fast, conversion-focused, SEO-ready sites across multiple industries (spas, restaurants, auto body shops, rental cars, and more).
You’ll work closely with our Media & Social Media Lead, PPC Lead, and Graphic Design Lead to translate brand vision into high-performing digital experiences. This role is for someone who knows when to move fast with templates—and when to go custom to win.
Responsibilities
• Build, customize, and maintain responsive websites using Duda
• Adapt Duda templates efficiently while delivering custom-coded solutions when required
• Translate wireframes, mockups, and creative concepts into functional, conversion-driven websites
• Implement and maintain on-page SEO best practices and site performance optimizations
• Manage integrations with third-party tools (analytics, ad platforms, CRM, booking tools, etc.)
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile optimization, and platform security standards
• Provide ongoing website maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates
• Collaborate closely with creative, media, and design teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional web development experience (agency or multi-industry preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with Duda (template customization, custom sections, widgets, and site management)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to work comfortably within Duda’s development environment and limitations (and still make it look premium)
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, performance optimization, and responsive design
• Ability to build from wireframes, mockups, or design prototypes
• Comfortable working across multiple industries and adapting to varied brand identities
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to hit deadlines
• Fluent in English (reading and writing)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Experience with WordPress (custom themes, template customization)
• Familiarity with Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS / website builders
• Basic back-end or API integration experience
Interview Process
• Step 1: Pre-screening with an Orange Helm tea
• Step 2: Interview with Orange Helm partners
• Step 3: Portfolio review + walkthrough of previous Duda (or comparable) projects
