???? What You'll Do
E-Commerce Development & Optimization

Build and optimize landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows focused on conversion rate optimization
Develop and maintain subscription management systems, customer portals, and retention mechanisms
Implement A/B testing infrastructure to rapidly validate conversion hypotheses
Build internal tools and dashboards for analytics, inventory management, and operations

Performance & Scalability

Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance to maximize conversion rates
Build scalable backend systems that handle high-volume traffic and transaction loads
Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production stability
Ensure security best practices across all customer-facing and internal systems

Integration & Automation

Integrate third-party APIs: payment processors, shipping providers, CRM systems, email platforms
Build automation systems to streamline operations and reduce manual work
Develop custom integrations between platforms (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, etc.)
Create data pipelines for analytics and reporting

Collaboration & Iteration

Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to prioritize high-impact projects
Rapidly prototype and ship features to validate business hypotheses
Document systems and processes for team scalability
Maintain clean, maintainable code with proper version control and testing


???? Required Qualifications

3+ years full stack development experience with proven e-commerce or SaaS projects
Strong frontend skills: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, responsive design
Strong backend skills: Node.js, Python, or similar; database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
E-commerce platform experience: Shopify (Liquid, APIs), WooCommerce, or similar platforms
API integration expertise: RESTful APIs, webhooks, third-party service integration
Performance optimization: Experience with site speed, caching, CDNs, and conversion optimization
DevOps fundamentals: Git, CI/CD, cloud hosting (AWS, Vercel, etc.), monitoring tools
Self-starter mentality: You don't need hand-holding—you identify problems and ship solutions
Data-driven mindset: You understand metrics (conversion rate, load time, error rates) and optimize accordingly

Bonus Points:

Experience with subscription business models and retention mechanics
Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.)
Experience building internal dashboards and operational tools
Knowledge of Shopify app development or custom theme development
Understanding of direct-response marketing and funnel optimization
