Lynkr is a fast-growing Canadian tech startup building the next generation of AI-powered workflow automation tools. Our platform lets businesses connect internal apps and third-party services using natural language, think “Zapier for agentic AI.” We’re a small, fast-moving team working across product, infrastructure, and applied AI. If you want to work directly with the founding team and build real product features that get used, this role is for you.

Role: Full Stack Software Developer (Next.js + FastAPI)
We’re looking for a developer comfortable working across both frontend and backend codebases. You’ll help us ship features for the Lynkr platform, from dashboard UI components to API endpoints and integrations with external services. Work may vary week to week depending on project needs.

Tech Stack
Frontend: Next.js 15, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, Framer Motion
Backend: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL
Infrastructure: Docker, GCP (GKE), CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across our frontend and backend
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code
- Develop and maintain API integrations
- Debug and optimize performance issues
- Collaborate directly with the founder and other developers
- Work independently

Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React or Next.js
- Strong Python skills (FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST)
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Confident with Git, branching, and pull requests
- Good English communication skills

Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)
- Understanding of GraphQL
- Prior startup or SaaS experience
- Interest in AI tools (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
