Full-Stack Developer – Email Infrastructure Platform (High Volume)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a developer to join our team long-term. This is not a one-time project – we have a pipeline of internal tools and infrastructure projects that need to be built.
Your first project: Build our internal email sequencing platform from scratch. We have complete specs, API references, and clear requirements. Your job is to execute fast.
After that: More projects. We're constantly building internal tools, automation systems, and infrastructure across our businesses. If you perform well on this first project, there's ongoing work for years.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD (FIRST PROJECT)
An email sequencing platform that supports:

100,000+ email accounts
1,000,000+ emails sent per day
Multi-step email sequences with delays
Random send scheduling (critical for deliverability)
IMAP-based reply detection
Webhook system for external integrations
Dashboard UI for campaign management


REQUIRED SKILLS
Must Have:

Strong Node.js OR Python experience
PostgreSQL experience (at scale preferred)
Redis and job queues (BullMQ, Celery, or similar)
Understanding of SMTP/IMAP protocols
REST API development
Comfortable with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)

Nice to Have:


Email infrastructure or deliverability experience
Next.js and React
High-throughput systems
Webhook implementations


TECH STACK

Frontend: Next.js + Tailwind + shadcn/ui
Backend: Next.js API Routes or FastAPI
Database: PostgreSQL
Queue: Redis + BullMQ

Email: Nodemailer, node-imap
Deployment: Railway, Render, or Vercel
