Authority Solutions® is a digital marketing agency that focuses on Web Design, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and AI-powered marketing technology to increase revenue for our clients. Founded in 2014, the company has grown year over year and has worked with remote tea ---------- mbers in the Philippines since the beginning.

We serve clients in Medical, Legal, Ecommerce, and Home Services verticals — and we're building internal SaaS products to power our own growth and eventually serve the broader market. The company plans to 3X its revenue in the next 12 months, and this role is central to making that happen.

Full-Stack Developer & Automation Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW
We're hiring a developer who can operate across two equally important domains:
1) Internal SaaS Product Development (50%) — Design, build, and ship lightweight internal web applications from the ground up using React/Next.js, Supabase, and Vercel. These are greenfield builds. You'll own the full stack — database design, API layer, frontend UI, auth, deployment, and iteration based on team feedback.

2) Automation & Integration Engineering (50%) — Architect, build, and maintain business-critical automation workflows (primarily n8n) that connect our CRM (GoHighLevel), ecommerce (WooCommerce), project management (ClickUp), communication (Slack), and operational systems (Google Sheets). You own the plumbing between platforms — making sure data, orders, pipelines, and alerts flow correctly with bulletproof error handling.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will not be waiting for tickets. You will be working directly with company leadership to understand what needs to be built, then building it.

WHO YOU ARE
You're a builder. You get energy from shipping things, not fro ---------- etings about shipping things.
You're comfortable with ambiguity. "Here's the problem, figure out the best solution" is exciting to you, not stressful.
You use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) daily and consider them a multiplier, not a crutch. This is a hard requirement.

You can context-switch between writing a React component in the morning and debugging a webhook integration in the afternoon.

You document what you build so others can understand and maintain it.
You communicate proactively — especially when something is blocked, broken, or behind schedule.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Full-Stack Development
React / Next.js — Building production web applications from scratch (not just modifying templates)
Supabase — Database design, Row Level Security, Edge Functions, Auth, Realtime subscriptions
Vercel — Deployment, environment management, serverless functions
JavaScript/TypeScript — Strong fundamentals, not just copy-paste from Stack Overflow
Tailwind CSS — Clean, responsive UI implementation
REST APIs — Designing and consuming APIs, authentication patterns, error handling
Git — Version control discipline (branching, PRs, meaningful commits)
Automation & Integration Engineering
n8n (or equivalent workflow automation platform) — Multi-step workflows including webhooks, cron schedules, branching logic, data transformations, retries, idempotency, and error handling
GoHighLevel (GHL) — Pipelines, CRM entities, webhooks, API integrations
WooCommerce — Orders, inventory, payment events, cancellation logic, REST API
ClickUp — Task management integrations, status updates, messaging
Slack — Notification workflows, integration patterns
Google Sheets — As an operational input/output layer for bulk actions and data mapping
AI-Assisted Development (Hard Requirement)
Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot — Daily proficiency. You use AI tools to ship faster and higher quality, not as a replacement for understanding what you're building.
Ability to evaluate, prototype, and recommend AI-powered features and tooling improvements for internal use.

PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Experience building chatbots or conversational AI agents (GHL, Convocore, Voiceflow, or similar)
WordPress custom API integrations and plugin development
Experience with Stripe or payment processing integrations
Familiarity with SEO tools and marketing technology platforms
Experience modeling API costs at scale
Infrastructure management on Render, Railway, or similar platforms

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal SaaS Development
Build greenfield internal web applications (React/Next.js + Supabase + Vercel) from concept to production
Own the full product lifecycle: database schema design, API development, frontend UI, authentication, deployment, and ongoing iteration
Current product roadmap includes internal tools for content production, SEO auditing, and local SEO workflows — you will build these from scratch
Write clean, maintainable code with documentation
Ship iteratively — working prototypes first, then polish based on team feedback
Automation Workflow Engineering
Design and deploy multi-step n8n automation workflows that synchronize data across GHL, WooCommerce, ClickUp, Slack, and Google Sheets
Build and maintain workflows including: sale event syncing (GHL ? WooCommerce), bulk restock pipelines, daily operational summaries, low-stock alerts, and reconciliation jobs
Implement robust error handling: retries, deduplication, dead-letter patterns, audit logging, and alerting
Establish reusable workflow patterns with consistent naming conventions, standardized nodes, and environment variable management
Data Integrity & Reliability
Build reconciliation workflows with auto-fix strategies where feasible
Ensure deduplication persistence to prevent duplicate downstream actions
Validate workflow correctness across edge cases (failed payments, cancellation restores, multi-item orders, out-of-order webhooks)
Maintain audit logs so changes can be traced and diagnosed
Testing & Deployment
Define and execute structured test plans for both SaaS features and automation workflows
Manage deployment across environments (dev, staging, production)
Drive releases from development to production with verification, observability, and rollback plans
Documentation & Operational Visibility
Document all workflows, system architectures, and runbooks
Build operational dashboards and status outputs for team visibility
Maintain mapping systems (SKU mapping, integration object mapping, API documentation)
AI Tooling & Continuous Improvement
Conduct internal audits of AI usage and tooling opportunities
Prototype new automation capabilities including AI-powered agents and chat-driven workflows
Evaluate and recommend tools and processes that improve team productivity

Self-Directed Problem Solver — You research, troubleshoot, and find answers independently before escalating. Google, documentation, and AI tools are your first line of defense.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 30 Days:
Onboarded to all systems (n8n, GHL, WooCommerce, ClickUp, Supabase, Vercel)
Shipped at least one small internal tool or meaningful feature
Taken over and stabilized existing automation workflows
Established working relationship and communication rhythm with leadership
First 90 Days:
First internal SaaS product in production and being used by the team
All critical automation workflows documented, monitored, and running reliably
Proactively identifying and proposing improvements to systems and processes
Operating independently with minimal direction on day-to-day priorities
First 6 Months:
Multiple internal SaaS tools shipped and iterating based on usage
Automation infrastructure is reliable, observable, and well-documented
You've become the team's go-to for "how should we build this?" questions
Measurable time savings and operational improvements from your work

WORK SCHEDULE & HOLIDAYS
All staff work a split shift so we can communicate on pertinent tasks or have tea ---------- etings as needed with US leadership.
As a company we observe all US holidays, as well as PH public holidays (New Year's Day, Lunar New Year, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Bataan Day, Labour Day, Philippines Independence Day, National Heroes' Day, Bonifacio Day, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christmas Day, Rizal Day). We work hard and value time with our families.
After 90 day probationary period all staff qualify for leave with proper notice based on employee handbook regulations.

SALARY RANGE
Full Time
$10–$12/hr USD (based upon knowledge, technical abilities, and demonstrated experience)
Performance-based increases as responsibilities grow
